WHO ARE WE??
When Kathryn and Timothy decided years ago that they wanted to pursue musical theatre, they had no idea the end result was to be a Children’s Fantasy Entertainment Company for parties as well as a Children’s Theatre Group in New York. We are now moving to the beautiful town of Brenham, Tx to share our goal and vision of bringing quality entertainment at an affordable price!
Kathryn is the mother of 3 grown boys who are all in the music business as well as the Musical Theatre Business. She has had extensive classical vocal training with one of the leading Mezzo Sopranos of the New York City Opera in a one on one training capacity for many years, as well as Contemporary Musical Theatre Study Workshops at The Institute of Art at NYU. She has directed and produced children's theatrical productions with cast size upwards of 120 children at one time.
She has received recognition for her dedication to teaching the arts to both children and adults who did not have previous theatrical experience to allow them to fall in love with the theatre as she has. Some of her students have gone on to study the arts in a professional manner and are now performing in Off-Broadway Productions, joining the AEA and living out their dreams.
Kathryn has performed in, written and directed shows for children and adults for over 15 years. Some of her favorite roles to play include Lucy & Emma in "Jekyll and Hyde", Laurie in "Oklahoma "Nancy in "Oliver!", Narrator in "Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat", and Marguerite in"Scarlet Pimpernel". She has also had the privilege to perform in and direct her original production of “Broadway Good and Evil” in an Off-Broadway Cabaret House on W.54th between Broadway and 8th in NYC.
Here in Lubbock, she has performed at the Cactus Theatre as well as donated many hours to community events in the form of Children's Characters. With her vocal ability she makes the parties come alive!
Timothy is the father of 2 grown children and has worked behind the scenes with Roundabout Theatre Company on Broadway in NYC for 5 years in set design, prop master, and other capacities for such shows as “Cabaret”, “Nine”, “12 Angry Men”, “Assassins”, “Big River”, with such stars as Matthew Broderick, Antonio Banderas, John Stamos, Alec Baldwin, Tom Bosley, Anne Hesche, Molly Ringwald and many more.
He was a Firefighter for over 23 years and had the unfortunate experience of being in NYC during the 9/11 attacks to assist in search and recovery. He is grateful for everyday of life.
The two met and were married over three and 1/2 years ago. They now combine their talents and experience and will be sharing it come August 15th 2010 in Brenham, Tx creating The Ultimate Experience for young people to celebrate their special day with a unique theatrical twist.
